“I was first introduced to SP approximately 4 ½ years ago, when my brother-in-law (Dave A.) and his wife (Joanne) were accepted as residents in Assisted Living. Unfortunately, after about a year it was evident that Joanne was in need of Memory Care support, so they were moved into a new apartment in that part of the community. I can’t express enough how caring, understanding and supportive the staff were to all of us. All the activities and events are geared to exactly what the residents need and are carried out in such a loving manner. When my sister-in-law passed away, Sterling Pointe was so accommodating in moving Dave back to Assisted Living where he resides today.
I have learned so much from the staff since visiting SP and interacting with them and the residents. I know it has made me more aware of issues that some seniors deal with every day and how the staff handle their tasks. It is hard to put into words how much I appreciate SP because it is an emotional feeling that is within me and hard to explain. I am blessed to know all those associated with this wonderful senior complex and am only too pleased to promote it to anyone seeking information for themselves or a loved one.”

“After touring eight assisted living facilities in the Maplewood, Oakdale, Woodbury and Lake Elmo area, it was an easy decision to choose Boulder Ponds for our mother. The staff are SO friendly! And, the rooms are so bright and welcoming! We liked that you could enter the facility as an independent resident and as needed, extra services could be provided without having to move to a different room! Mom is very happy with the decision to move to Boulder Ponds!
The weekly activities provide something for everyone! Whether you just want to meet new friends or if you’re used to having an active social life, you can set your own pace!
Knowing that my husband would need more care than I could provide in the future due to an Alzheimer’s diagnosis, I placed him on the Memory Care waiting list after only a month of my mother being a resident of Boulder Ponds because I was confident that the facility would be the best place for him also. He is a resident of the Boulder Ponds Memory Care now.
Whether I’m walking in the Boulder Ponds front door, in an elevator or in a hallway, I am always greeted by each and every staffer I encounter! In addition, the nurses and aides are so caring for all of the residents. It takes a special kind of person to be an aide, (especially in the memory care unit) and Boulder Ponds does a great job of finding and hiring those special people!
What I truly appreciate the most is the fact that Boulder Ponds has an open door when it comes to any concerns that residents or their family members may have. They are quick to respond to and address concerns and want everyone living at the facility to be happy, healthy and safe.”
